Objective & Benefits
The Palak Mata Pita Yojana provides financial support to children who are:
Orphaned (both parents have died), or
Single-parented (father has died and mother has remarried), and
Are being raised by relatives like uncle-aunt, grandparents, etc.
✅ Financial Assistance:
₹3,000 per month is provided to the foster parent/guardian through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
👨👩👧 Eligibility Criteria
Age of Child:
Must be between 0 to 18 years.
Annual Family Income Limit:
Rural areas: Up to ₹27,000
Urban areas: Up to ₹36,000
(Income certificate required from the local revenue authority)
Education Condition:
Children aged 3–6 years must be enrolled in an Anganwadi.
Children above 6 years must be regularly attending school.
Proof of enrollment and attendance is required.

Upload required documents and submit
Option 2: Offline
Visit your District Social Security Office or District Child Protection Unit
Collect the application form, attach documents, and submit physically
After verification and approval by the district committee, the monthly amount is directly credited to the foster parent’s bank account.
