Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these 5,349 slots, candidates must meet the following requirements:

1. Educational Qualification

  • 10th Class: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) under the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

  • Technical: Must possess an ITI Certificate in a relevant trade (affiliated with NCVT/SCVT).

2. Age Limit (as of March 23, 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 15 Years

  • Maximum Age: 24 Years

  • Age Relaxation: * SC/ST: 5 years

    • OBC: 3 years

    • PwBD: 10 years


Trade-Wise Vacancy Breakup

The vacancies are spread across various technical trades. The most prominent include:

  • Electrician: 1,217 posts

  • Welder: 532 posts

  • PASAA/COPA: 280 posts

Selection Process: No Exam, No Interview

Unlike other government jobs, selection for the RRC 5349 posts is purely Merit-Based.

  1. Merit List: A list is prepared by averaging the percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation (10th) and ITI. Both carry equal weightage (50% each).

  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original certificates.

  3. Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
